The charity run of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was a great success, accumulating over $1,600 for the Child's Play charity fund, which provides games, movies, and toys to hospitalized children around the world. At first we set a modest goal of $500, but soon exceeded that goal only a few hours into the stream and had to bump it to $1,000. Again, our expectations were exceeded as many more gracious donations were made by viewers around the world. Of course, as the donations became greater, the game restrictions imposed upon the streamer, loldbz, were also increased, making for a very entertaining, and sometimes frustrating, stream. Thank you, everyone that participated in this event. It was a lot of fun, and together we were able to make a difference in the lives of others during the holidays. The amount of support for the event from viewers was tremendous and none of this would have been possible with out every one of you.
